My name is Freddy, I live in Lima, Peru, I have been drinking since age 17, I am now 42 years old,  I  have relatively had some successes such as recently getting a proffesional degree and I'm now studying to get a Systems Engineer degree. But today I felt very bad because I spent the money from my wife that she is using to build a roof on our house and yet I still was bad, I mean that I'm making a lot of damage to all my family with my drunkenness. I just can´t stop drinking when I have a drink. I have become aware of it, I ask you to give me strength to go ahead, to pray for me and for all those alcoholics who do not want to admit their problem. Something very beautiful: today I decided to cure myself from this and end with the damage it was causing to those around me. I have promised them that I will change and give them lots of love, will ask my partner Machi to forgive me for all the harm I have caused her. You know, I think I am pretty smart and clever and do not want that to get lost because of alcohol and would like to become a brilliant teacher and systems engineer to move forward with my family and my country.
